Recognising exceptional youth achievement and Honoris Educational Network’s ongoing support for leadership and community impact.

Honoris Educational Network joined the national celebration of youth excellence at the 39th Junior Chamber International (JCI) Outstanding Young Person (TOYP) Awards, held on 3 October 2025 at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in Moka.

Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Youth Council, the event honoured the achievements of Mauritians aged 18 to 40 who are driving meaningful change under the theme “Nu Passion Nu Lavenir.”

Six categories recognised contributions across business, humanitarian work, culture, environmental leadership, academia, and scientific innovation.

Winners

Yovanni Ivan Brandon Jordan Philippe was named the overall winner for his exceptional work in moral and environmental leadership. His efforts continue to inspire young Mauritians to act for a more sustainable future.

In the category of Humanitarian and Voluntary Leadership, Prisheela Mottee, President of the Raise Brave Girls Association, was announced as runner-up for her outstanding work promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls through advocacy and education.

Honoris Sponsorship

Honoris Educational Network proudly sponsored an academic programme for Ms. Mottee, reflecting its belief in the power of education to drive positive social impact. The sponsorship forms part of Honoris’s broader commitment to supporting youth who use their knowledge and purpose to transform communities.

Honoris also partnered with JCI Mauritius to host a Personal Branding Workshop, guiding young professionals to better understand their strengths, articulate their values, and position themselves effectively in the job market. The session encouraged self-awareness, authenticity, and professional growth.

“Education is a lifelong journey,” said Tasneem Jaumally, Managing Director of Honoris Educational Network. “Our mission is to help young people realise their potential and build meaningful careers. Supporting the JCI TOYP Awards aligns perfectly with that vision.”

Honoris Educational Network congratulates all winners and participants for their remarkable achievements and remains committed to fostering talent, leadership, and purpose among Mauritian youth.
