This core philosophy was brought to life recently as Honoris Educational Network welcomed the 2026 JCI Mauritius Skills & Development Committee for an immersive and highly impactful training session, titled Conflict Resolution: Lead with Confidence.
The masterclass was facilitated by Tasneem Jaumally, Managing Director of Honoris Educational Network. Under her guidance, young leaders were equipped with practical communication, emotional intelligence and conflict management tools necessary to navigate challenging environments with professional poise.
The Conflict Resolution Toolkit in Action
Rather than presenting conflict as a barrier, the masterclass delivered a highly practical framework for transforming workplace tension into constructive progress. Thee young delegates were guided through the mechanics of conflict dynamics, demonstrating how to identify the root causes of disagreements before they escalate, and how to manage heightened emotional responses under pressure.
The core of the training delivered actionable, human-centric interpersonal skills, guiding participants through the practical application of de-escalation and active listening to move past surface-level arguments and uncover underlying motives. Through interactive exercises, the delegates actively practiced empathy-driven dialogue to preserve and strengthen professional relationships during high-stakes negotiations, whilst adopting solution-oriented problem-solving techniques to steer conversations away from finger-pointing and towards collaborative, win-win outcomes.
