22 October 2026
This Pink October, Honoris Educational Network (HEN) joined hands with Link to Life to show support for people affected by breast cancer through its Pink Steps Challenge and care package initiative.
From 19 to 24 October, employees participated in the Pink Steps Challenge, with two teams tracking their steps throughout the week, walking for a cause. The initiative encouraged physical activity and teamwork while bringing employees together for a cause that affects individuals and families across the community.
Extending Support to Link to Life
On 22 October, Honoris joined beneficiaries of Link to Life during a yoga session at Pamplemousses Youth Centre, sharing care packages as a gesture of encouragement and support.
The initiative was guided by a heartfelt message: “Someone at Honoris walked for you this October. We hope this little pack brings you some comfort and reminds you that people are thinking of you.”
This message reflects the importance of recognising the personal journeys of those affected by breast cancer. Through thoughtful gestures and community engagement, Honoris aimed to offer encouragement and remind beneficiaries that they are valued and supported.
By connecting employee participation with community engagement, Honoris marked Pink October with a shared commitment to compassion, solidarity and care.
Honoris remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen community connections and make a positive difference.
